Last Friday, the Scotcom Services team completed a server cabinet upgrade project at Kinross Primary School.

The upgrade involved consolidating the school’s servers and associated equipment into a new 42RU rack. By organising all hardware into a single, modern cabinet, we were able to not only improve cable management and airflow but also create a neater and more accessible setup for the school’s IT staff.

In addition to enhancing the reliability of the network infrastructure, this project also freed up valuable space in the cupboard, allowing the school to repurpose the area for extra storage.
